NOVEMBER CDP THEME--EPHEMERAL

Leftover Halloween Candy

I've been out of the country for the last 30 days and just arrived home in the wee hours of Halloween morning. I almost decided not to participate in handing out candy, but then changed my mind. I'm happy I did since despite it pouring rain last night, lots of costumed kids came to my house. Now I have leftover candy which won't last long as the wrappers and half eaten Hershey bar attest . . . Ephemeral.

  1. Welcome home, Susan. Such an obvious Halloween inspiration for the "ephemeral" theme. Why didn't I think of that?

Hope your trip was good. In Florida, I live in a gated community that, while not officially a 55-over community, is dominated by retirees. No costumed kids came to the door.

  2. Love your contribution to ephemeral! :-)
I'd give you first price for best tongue-in-cheek interpretation of the theme! :-)
    Looking longingly at those Reese's,

Weight loss is a big issue to many people, especially in the western world. In America, a great percentage of people are having weight problems due to poor feeding habits. Well, the problem is rampant in every society and devising the best way of dealing with the problem is among the best ways that many weight loss professionals are looking at.

  6. Those Hershey bars really did catch my eye. I miss them. After gazing longingly I realised that I had no idea where Walla Walla was. Now I know. I just been on a trip to Portland and I wasn't that far away. Fun!
