STAR MAGNOLIA-REDUX

Studies in Black and White

Yesterday I posted these same photos of a Star Magnolia blossom in color.
Here are the black and white variations. I like them both but for different reasons.
How about you?

  1. I think that I prefer the B&W magnolia rather than the coloured shot you had yesterday.

    1. I am torn. I am very attracted to B&W and have been editing more of my photos that way, but something about the color grabs my attention, too. Hence the two blog posts.

  2. I'm a big fan of B&W images Susan and the magnolias lend themselves beautifully to this medium.

    1. Thanks. I originally included both color and B&W on the same post, but then thought better of it. Glad you like them.
