Signs of the Times
Since June 19, North Clinton has been closed to thru traffic from Melrose St. to Isaacs due to major infrastructure work along Isaacs. As a result traffic has been detoured--to the east down Melrose, and to the west down Sumach.
But in the last day or two, a new sign has appeared directing Whitman students who will be living in the dorm that was once Walla Walla's original General Hospital to go straight ahead.
Rather confounding, no?
