JAVA TO GO-GO

Satisfying America's Car Culture

FUEL Coffee Shop is one of many drive-thru coffee shops in Walla Walla. They number more than actual walk-in coffee establishments of which there are several including four Starbucks--two free standing stores and two smaller versions within grocery stores.

While coffee purists may cringe, Baskin Robbins' 31 flavors of ice cream
has nothing on the 57 flavors of syrup that can be added to your coffee at FUEL.

  1. We have a few drive-throughs for coffee here, too, but Starbucks seems to be everywhere.

  2. These drive throughs or 'hole in the wall' coffee outlets are becoming so popular here also Susan, the coffee is pretty good too, it has to be if they want people to come back :) Fab choice for today's theme.

  3. I haven't seen anything like this here. I do know some gas stations have taken to putting in a full coffee bar inside the store.

  4. Haven't seen one like that since we left Alaska. They use to pop-up at different places in town during the year then eventually became permanent if they did well. Seem to remember that the 3 I saw did well. Being close to a university helped too :)

The assortment of flavourings is quite amazing. ;-)
Thank you for participating, I am thrilled,

  7. These drive-thru venues are popping up all over the place here in England. Always seem to be either a Starbucks or Costa Coffee. This looks more like a smaller business which I hope is doing well. Like the ambitious spirit of all those flavors you show here. Made me smile.
