The gold dome is Dietrich Dome at the local community college which serves as the gymnasium as well as the basketball arena for the college teams. In this picture it looks like the "Mother Ship" for all of the smaller tents.
A good contrast!The dome reminds me of the odd installation put up here in winter time so that some sports can continue to be played.
It definitely has a '70s vibe to it, doesn't it?
